Bar Harbor Inn Event Coordinator

The Bar Harbor Inn seeks an energetic, outgoing, hospitality professional to oversee our group functions. The Event Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to assist in planning and oversee all meetings, banquet dinners and wedding receptions. This includes arranging for and supervising room setups and breakdowns, assuring required supplies are available when needed, coordinating staffing of events and synchronizing the timing of food service with the chef/kitchen staff and guests. Inherent to this position is to serve as the primary on-site contact for in-house groups.

This is a salaried, full time, seasonal position. Excellent salary and benefits

Familiarity with Springer Miller - SMS Host property management system or other similar software a plus. Group Function or related experience required.
